Find Us at the Woodinville Farmers Market

We're Tyler and Alex of Blue Glass Farm. We grow phenomenally delicious vegetables just up the road, and every Saturday we're behind the table in downtown Woodinville, handing them to you.

Parking

  • ! Free parking next to the sports field — it can get a bit hectic at peak, so give yourself a minute
  • ! Paid parking under the Schoolhouse District — enter the garage from NE 175th St or 133rd Ave NE. Validation is available, but only the businesses in the District Flats can validate — we can't validate at the farmers market, so you'll need to shop with one of the businesses in the district

Who we are

We're Tyler and Alex. We grow vegetables right here in Woodinville.

The vegetables on our table come from our farm just up the road — not a network of farms, not a warehouse. We grew them, we picked them, and we're the ones standing behind the table.

  • · Everything's hand-grown and picked at peak
  • · We grow hundreds of varieties every year, chasing the most amazing flavors
  • · We don't spray anything — no herbicides, no fungicides, no pesticides
  • · Regenerative and no-till — because healthy soil grows more delicious, more nutritious food

What you'll find at our stand

Varieties you won't find in a grocery store.

We pick our varieties for remarkable flavor — tomatoes, summer squash, carrots, salad greens, melons, and whatever else is at its peak that week. Plenty of it never shows up in stores at all.

Not sure what to do with something? Ask us — think of us as your vegetable sommeliers. If you've never cooked with it, we'll give you a simple way in. If you're an old pro, we'll tell you what makes this variety special and where it really shines.

Browse our crop pages for storage, prep, and cooking notes on everything we grow.

Make a morning of it

Our favorite stands at the market.

We shop the market too. These are the stands we actually hit on Saturdays, and what we get there.

Treeline Farms

Amazing beef, whether it's the ground or the ribeyes — and for the love of God, try the neck bones.

Le Pain Julien

Their baguette is Tyler's favorite bread in the city, and the pretzel bites are a close second.

The Hungry Lyon Cookie Co.

The Sasquatch Snack — a s'more inside a chocolate chip cookie — is Tyler's favorite cookie on the planet.

Hogstead

Great pork — the green chorizo is fantastic — and excellent eggs.

Bill's Fruits

Excellent seasonal fruit — grab whatever's at its moment.

Hayton Farms Berries & Our Family Farm

Two great berry growers at the same market — both worth a stop.

Chou Valley Fresh & Bao Lor Garden

Pick up fresh flowers on your way out.

Cute Dumplings

Stop in for Chinese food while you shop.

Outlands Coffee Company

Excellent coffee with an always-rotating lineup — Tyler loves the anaerobic ferments.

After the market

Jackson House

Chef-driven small plates and one of the best cocktail programs around, right in the Schoolhouse District. They frequently cook with our vegetables — and the food is amazing.

Woodinville Bodega

A great spot for Asian snacks, probably the cheapest beer in town, and a killer poke bowl.

Want vegetables every week?

If you like what you taste on Saturday, our CSA membership is 18 weeks of weekly vegetable boxes, June through October — picked up at the farm in Woodinville or at Fremont Brewing in Seattle.

Good things to know

Is the farmers market dog friendly?

Totally. Lots of people bring their dogs out every week.

Can I buy vegetables for my pet?

Absolutely. We serve the best-fed dogs, lizards, rabbits, tortoises, and other assorted animals in the city.

When will you have tomatoes?

Cherry tomatoes usually arrive late July to early August. Heirlooms tend to hit mid to late August.

Do you have a farm stand?

We don't. We run the farm with a very small team, and there's just no time to sell off the farm. To get our vegetables: the Saturday market, our CSA, or our U-Pick events.

Are there trash cans?

Yes — one at each end of the alleyway.

Is there an elevator?

Totally — right under Ballard Pizza Company.

What's the code for the bathrooms?

You don't need one.

Where can I find water?

There are water fountains next to the bathrooms toward the northeast end of the alley, and a great filling station — the big green box — near the south end.
