How Pickup Works

This is what you're here for—this is when the fun begins! We have a market-style CSA where you'll select your produce from labeled bins at the pickup tent. Everything is clearly marked, and anyone can pick up your share—just have them give us your name.

Think of us as your vegetable gurus, your sommeliers of produce. If you've never used a vegetable before, we can help you find simple ways to incorporate it into new dishes or into meals you already love. If you're an old pro, we can give you all kinds of details about what makes a particular variety unique and where it really shines. Don't be afraid to ask—we are here to help. Vegetables can be intimidating, but with a little knowledge and some guidance, you can make anything delicious.

What to Bring

We recommend something to carry your share—a reusable bag, a cooler, or both. We provide paper bags, but most members prefer bringing their own. Look for something easy to clean and at least 20 liters (about a standard grocery bag). A firm bottom makes filling easier, but we're not in a hurry around here—no need to stress about it.

  • Reusable bags — something like these work great
  • A cooler — especially if running errands after
  • Your name — or the name on the share

These are just products we like — use whatever works for you. As an Amazon Associate, we may earn a commission. Learn more ›

Can't Make It?

Let us know ahead of time if you can't make pickup. Send a friend or family member in your place—just have them give us your name. We can sometimes accommodate missed pickups, but not always. Reply to any Blue Glass Farm email to reach us.

If you're looking for someone to help with pickup, we highly recommend our Friends of Blue Glass Farm Facebook group—a great place to connect with others who enjoy our produce.

Directions

Turn at the Tonnemaker Farm sign on 140th Pl NE. (Note: Tonnemaker is a different farm, but they have better signage than us—it makes a great landmark!)

You'll see our tent on the right about 100 feet down the road, just after the chain-link fence. Look for a tent with produce bins and our smiling faces behind it.

Passed a mural on the left? You've gone too far—turn around!

Parking

  • ! Park on the right side when possible to leave space for Tonnemaker
  • ! Drive slowly — neighbors, wildlife, and veggies nearby
  • ! Back out carefully — there are often children and other people around
